Autism Assessment (UK) Zoom Event

Kleefstrasyndrome.org presents the next event in the It Takes A Village series, all about the autism assessment process (in the UK). We know that many children and people diagnosed with Kleefstra syndrome also display autistic traits, and that having a KS diagnosis may not always be enough to gain the right support services required; a diagnosis for autism can make that difference. Caudwell Children, based in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire, are autism specialists. They have offered to attend our virtual session to describe what is involved in an autism assessment in the UK, and how to go about requesting one.

The event is being held via Zoom on Sunday 22nd January 2023 at 4pm GMT.

The virtual session will be delivered by Assistant Psychologists from Caudwell Children’s Autism Service. Please register HERE to request the link to the Zoom session.

If you have any specific questions for the Assistant Psychologists, please send them to info@kleefstrasyndrome.org by 17th January. This gives them time to prepare their response and include it within the meeting.
