Kleefstra Syndrome UK

Our charity has outgrown its unincorporated charitable status and now requires transformation into an Incorporated Charitable Organisation registered with the UK’s Charity Commission.

During our Annual General Meeting in June 2023, our Trustees and members voted on significant changes. This included redefining our charitable objectives in alignment with Charity Commission guidelines and transitioning from KleefstraSyndrome.org to our new identity, Kleefstra Syndrome UK, signifying our UK-based presence.

Over the years we have been in communication with many families in our KS community in the UK and all over the world, providing interesting and relevant updates, opportunities to aid research, and on-line community events. Rest assured; all of this will remain unchanged.

Our commitment extends to upholding the charitable procedures within the UK. As we concentrate on supporting the local UK community, we are acutely mindful of the significance of our engagement with the broader KS worldwide community.

Furthermore, we proudly unveil a new logo, carefully designed to symbolise our renewed enthusiasm. This logo embodies our mission and values, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to assisting those affected by Kleefstra syndrome.
